The following F.A.Q. will hopefully answer any questions you have about working with us. It has been put together to allow you to see how we work, and gives you a brief overview of our terms and conditions etc.

Whilst this F.A.Q. is accurate regarding our general practices, we mostly work on a case by case basis, so whilst the practices listed in our F.A.Q. form the basis of our dealings with you, nothing is written in stone. If there is any area of the F.A.Q. you would like to discuss before hiring us, we would be happy to hear from you, just mail us using the information on our contact page.

Hiring Us

Q: How do I contact you?

A: If you would like an estimate or have any general enquires, simply contact us in any of the ways available on our contact page.

Q: I'd like a specific quote.

A: You can either contact us via e-mail or phone with details of your project, or you can use our enquiry form, which includes questions to help us get a good idea of what you're looking for and how much it will cost.

Getting Started

Q: How do we get started?

A: Firstly, if you have any questions or general enquires, then don't hesitate to contact us.

Q: What do you need from me?

A: The first thing we'll do is ask you for a quick meeting, either via phone, e-mail or (if possible) face to face. We always do this just to try to fully understand what you're looking for. We would also ask to see any material relevant to the project we're designing for, such as logos or artwork already associated with your firm/project.

Development Stages

Q: What are the development stages?

A: We follow the following development stages:

  • Firstly we'll offer you a quote and await your approval.
  • We'll discuss the project details and style you're looking for, and return with our initial concept sketches.
  • If approved, we'll ask a fifty percent down payment, and then alter our design to fit with any further requirements you have.
  • We'll then pass updated ideas and sketches back and forth, until you're satisfied enough for us to create the final proof.
  • From this proof, we will create the final design and then a final design based on any comments.
  • Finally we will send you the design in the required formats, and await final payment.

After Service Care

Q: What after service care can I expect?

A: We will ensure your design gets online or to the printers, and will assist you if any problems arise. Web sites come with one year technical support, but as we build all of our sites to the accepted web standards, your site should remain compatible with all future web browsers.

Q: What about hosting and printing?

A: If requested, we will find you a reliable web host and upload the site for you. As for printing, we will ensure the files are all ready for print, and contact printers (EU only) for you when asked.

Copyright

Q: Who owns the copyright to the design?

A: Any images and text provided by you, will remain the property of the copyright holder for that work, however any graphics or text created by us, will fall under our copyright. You will be given an exclusive license to use the work for the agreed project. We use a standard design contract to protect both you and ourselves, but we are always happy to discuss any concerns you may have with this.

Oh wonderful - what did I say? Hmmm, well sod this for a lark - I'm outta here!
  • Now, don't you go pressing the destruct button! It's hard enough running this place without visitors constantly blowing it up around me.Thankfully for me, only browsers which support 3D transitions can fiddle with the destruct button, but I'm certain you wouldn't want to press it, even if you could!
Well nice one genius, you had to press the big red destruct button. Sheesh, well go on, press the reset button and we can all get back on with our day. Tssk, humans....
