If you are a book publisher looking for a professional children's book illustrator, who can not only create suitable and polished illustrations, but also provide layout work, cover design and is able to work with your printer to ensure everything is properly prepped for release, then Happy Monsters' Studios could be the illustration partner you're looking for.
In addition to our illustration skills, our chief illustrator (Chrischa Van de Voorde) has spent many years working with children as a professional face painter, and over the years has developed a great understanding of their tastes.
We take great care in building characters which children will quickly warm to, and landscapes which match their styling.
For childrens' books we price each required illustration individually, based on their sizes (small, medium, large) which we will determine once we have read your descriptions. We will work with you on establishing an overall style for the book, along with creating style sheets for the main characters. From this look, we will create each illustration.
We do offer a discounting system based on how many illustrations are needed for the complete project. This is something we can discuss.
