EP CD Cover Design

"Spirit of Darkness" is an EP cover design, which we decided to base around a photo of a spindly looking tree.

We wanted to play with a subtle black and white contrast but we also touched on the supernatural again, as we worked on the ghostly characters in the background.

Looking back on this design, (which is just an internally created example) we could do a lot more with the opaque characters to make them look more ghoulish. We would also improve the integration of the titles and work further on the ghostly mist which lines the design, to make it feel more involved with the central design.
